Itinerary:
SATURDAY
9am - Meet at Peel Wood Fire Pizza - GPS 921 South Arbor Edwardsville Il ( 50 minutes from St Charles) park in lot to far left - cars will be fine overnight here. Security will take your luggage and coolers to the hotel.
9:30am - Ride departs 25 miles on the paved Quercus Grove Trail. We will ride out 12 miles for a water break and then come back 12 miles go past Peel and arrive at park for a great bbq lunch.
12:30 - BBQ LUNCH at pavilion at Edwardsville Township Community Park - $5 per person for picnic lunch hosted by Rich and Vivian Grelle ( my awesome parents) Those only wanting to ride 14 miles can meet us at the park for lunch. You will leave your cars there overnight. I have permission from the park dept. They will lock the park at dusk. You will return there on Sunday and then drive 1 mile over to meet the rest of the group for our celebrity lunch at Peel Woodfire Pizza.
2pm - Ride 14 miles to Double Tree Hilton one break at 7 miles. Arrive at hotel by 4pm. Enjoy happy hour and relaxing time before dinner in the beautiful indoor pool. Pack a cooler. Security will get your luggage and coolers to hotel. No glass in pool area- can beer allowed. Plenty of time to unwind at pool and patio areas.
7pm - dinner next door at Zapatas Mexican restaurant on their outside patio reserved for our party. Let the Margarita's flow.
SUNDAY
Breakfast Buffet included at Porter Steak House connected to the hotel.
8:45am - meet in lobby ready to ride an easy 15 miles back to the park for the short version riders and 16 back to our cars for the long riders.
9:15 - depart ride 7 miles to water break then the final 8 miles. Those taking the shorter ride option will go their cars at the Edwardsville Township Park and drive a mile to Peel Woodfire Pizza to meet the rest of us there for our celebration lunch on their patio. We have one more mile to ride to our cars
11am - Lunch at Peel Woodfire Pizza. You will be home close to 1pm on Sunday. Plenty of time to unwind before work on Monday.
