Pitman Hill Challenge
HOW DID THIS ALL START....
The 2020 riding season during Covid I discovered a great biking loop that had the perfect amount of everything. It is half Katy, half paved, and about 1/3 hill challenges. This 11 mile loop had some real wing-dinger hills. But they all pay off when you got to ride down Pitman to the Katy at 35 miles an hour if you so choose. ( the smart girls don't do this but I am admittedly guilty on occasion - What a thrill.)
So it became a weekly ride. You can knock it out in an hour and walk away getting a really good hard workout you feel good about. I am not sure who suggested it or how it came to be but one week I decided to Super Size Boot Camp and do it in reverse which meant we had to climb Pitman Hill. Half mile @155ft ascent. So that is how it started and when girls did it they made the Braggin Box in my weekly eblast. It became "a thing". Girls got their husbands to do it. Molly bet her daughter she couldn't do it and by golly she did. That cost her 50 bucks. So I made a video documenting this great feat and now we have a special web page to give tribute to the growing number who have achieved this.
